One of the many things that I love about showing houses is the opportunity to see some pretty unusual stuff! On my last excursion with buyers, we were in an area which has a couple of neighborhoods carved into mountains. We were moving from one neighborhood to another, which meant moving from one mountain to another. The GPS told us to take a right off the base road that we were on, but what it had us turning on looked nothing like any road I have ever seen. I have now dubbed it the road most likely to not be classified as a road. I’m still surprised that it came up in the GPS! I’m used to dirt and gravel roads, but this looked more like a winter run-off for water than an actual road. It was a series of switchbacks to get to the top of the mountain. We navigated gaping holes, fallen trees, large boulders, and steep drop-offs, as we serpentined to the top. What an adventure! We finally connected to the main road at the top of the mountain and were greeted by this cheery pink pig. Gotta love adventures in real estate!
